Subject: Alcohol in Moderation not harmful?

Please check out my health web site, particularly "Alcohol - the dangers of light and moderate amounts."

The pro-alcohol media - even some health groups - support this drug use in moderation. I have much referenced material on the harm from smaller amounts of alcohol consumption. Alcohol, like tobacco, has many positive studies (see my web site on "Smoking") but the dangers outweigh any supposed benefits. Also many of the studies are flawed - see "Health Benefits Questioned" and "The Effects of One Alcoholic Drink." The French Paradox was disproved years ago because of faulty statistics and the government has now declared alcoholic beverages to be a class 'A' human carcinogen.
